Bhimsain (1936-2018) is the founder of Climb Films. Winner of 16 President’s National Awards and 8 International awards besides 100s others, he is also India’s animation pioneer who gave us the iconic, inimitable animated short ‘Ek anek ekta’ with the indelible song ek-chidiya-anek-chidiya.
Bhimsain is also one of the avant-garde filmmakers of the Parallel Cinema movement of the 70s in India with successful films like ‘Gharaonda’ (Amol Palekar, Zarina Wahab), Dooriyan (Uttam Kumar, Sharmila Tagore) and many other works etched in the annals of Indian cinema.
Now headed by leading stalwarts of the Indian Animation industry and Sheridan College (Canada) alumni, Climb Studios is built on the foundation of integrity and excellence.
